Metra Economic Consulting Ltd inherits a tradition of advice to governments and businesses dating back to 1967.
Metra Consulting Group was established in 1967 as part of a network International in a French Sema group, with two main types services (1) market research and consulting for industrial firms and (2) operational and strategic planning.
In 1992 the French Sema group has been restructured and the company became Metra Sofres.
Sofres SA merged with the British company leader in the field of market research,
Taylor Nelson ABG, giving birth to the group Taylor Nelson Sofres Plc. Metra Sofres continued its activities within the new group.
In 2002, the group Taylor Nelson Sofres decided to withdraw the consultation activities management to focus on consumer research, for strategic reasons. Metra Economic Consulting was then created by operation buyout by management.
Metra is formed by a small team of experienced consultants, economists, technologists and business advisors, and has a network of over 500 partners providing specialized expertise in a wide range of sectors and activities.
